With maps featuring highlights, practical 'how to get there' information, pros and cons for every route and a splash of culture Follow the Coast will inspire hikers, road trippers and culture lovers alike.
The Journey
The European coast has a total length of about 100,000 km. We decided to explore it all. On foot. Every day one team covered 100 km and then passed the mission on to another. Together we are venturing along the entire European coastline.
Along the way we have recorded the magnificent scenery on camera and lived the stories of the coast, all of which we capture in a series of books.
This book is the result of our first 4,600 km - the French and Belgian Atlantic coast, which has been run and hiked by almost 100 'shoreholders' from all over the globe - and is gathered together with the tips needed to relive this part of the adventure and discover its hidden treasures.
