Mamby grew up in a place called Bijlmer, on the Southeast side of Amsterdam. Hardly anyone owned a mobile phone at that time. And even if they did, phones were only meant for making calls. Mamby was not very interested in mobile phones at all. In fact, the only thing he was looking forward to, were the Summer holidays. School didn't mean much to him. Especially since he was no longer sharing the same class with Nino. It was only one more week before they could finally chill-out, and do whatever they liked most: jamming, cycling and playing soccer with other guys from the hood. But then suddenly, Mamby heard a very strange sound. From that moment on, he decided to leave his friends behind, until he found out where this noise was coming from. That marked the beginning of a breathtaking journey, with new friends that didn't only cross Mamby's path, but who entered his life and turned it inside out, and upside down.
