'Fine dining in the Middle Ages' is the English version of the very successful 'De smaak van de Middeleeuwen'. The translation has the same undercooled tone and sense of humour as the original. Is it a real medieval cooking book? That is something to be discussed. Is it an amusing cookbook with lovely pictures and easy to make recipes? That is for sure, so it shouldn't be missed by any re-enactor who can read and likes to eat good food.
